Based on Bloom's Taxonomy of educational objectives - the participants are encouraged and motivated to move up the ladder of learning objectives. They intuitively upgrade from remembering (i.e. recalling facts and basic Mathematical concepts) to understanding (i.e. explaining Mathematical ideas or concepts), to applying (i.e. using Mathematical information in new situations), to analyzing (i.e. drawing connections among ideas), to evaluating (i.e. ability to justify a stand or decision), and eventually to creating (i.e. producing new or original work).

Based on Webb's Depth of Knowledge model - the participants are encouraged and motivated to move up from DOK Level 1 to DOK Level 4. The students are tested on their ability to Recall and Reproduce (i.e. ability to address and respond to questions, problems and task correctly, on ability to Apply Knowledge and Skills / Use Basic Reasoning (i.e. ability to demonstrate and communicate how and why knowledge can be used to answer questions, address problems, accomplish tasks, or analyze texts and topics), on ability to Think Strategically / Use Complex Reasoning and Planning (i.e. ability to think deeply and express and share hopw and why knowledge could be used to examine and explain rationale, reasons, relationships, and results, and finally on ability to Think Extensively (i.e. ability to think critically and creatively how they could transfer, use, and share knowledge in different contexts and new situations deep within a subject area, across a curriculum, and beyond the classroom over an extended period of time).
